The month has been a good one for the start of the new season. Callum Evans has settled well in Sweden, reaching the last 64 in the European Table Tennis Championships in Portugal, beating an Olympic Medallist from 2012 on his way.
Beth Richards was part of Team Wales who won the National Championship at Wembley, beating Grantham in the final. Louie Evans travelled to Europe, winning 7 games in Romania. Both are part of the National Elite Squad who train under the guidance of our very own Llwynypia born Stephan Jenkins.
Oscar Marriott played in the Plymouth 2* taking a Silver in the consolation, playing 9 games in the Under 18s.
The Dragons saw Amelie David make her first appearance in Cardiff, coming runner up in the Under 9s with her brother Adam David coming through a tough group to make it into the play offs.
Zuzanna and Piotr Wlodarczyk are both playing well in the Under 11 and Harry Docherty is still improving, coming 3rd in both Under 13s and Cadets. Jayden Meadows also came runner up in both the aforementioned categories.
September has proved to be a great month with a good clean sweep of the Bronze and Silvers by the Rhondda boys and as always it is great to see the club entering competitions from the Europeans to the Dragons.
We are looking forward to seeing what November has in store for the club.
